If you mean what the name translates into.

Ichigo=Strawberry
Kuro=Black
Saki=I don’t know exactly of the translation of this one (When I typed it onto a Japanese to English Dictonary I got; Point,Destenation,Tip,End;Small Peninsula;and undermentioned. XD)

Hope that was helpfull in anyway

    ‘Kurosaki’ Lit. means ‘first black’ (Actually the way it is written in the manga 黒崎 lit. means ‘black peninsula). ‘Saki’ is a very common surname suffix in Japan.

    ‘Ichigo’ (Depending on how it is written) can either mean ‘Strawberry’ or ’1-5′ (‘Ichi’ means 1 and ‘Go’ means 5). The actual way his name is written in the manga though is 一護 which means ‘One (or first) protector (or guardian).

    Interesting fact – When they call him ‘Ichi-niisan’ (brother ichi) in the anime, this lit. means ’1-2-3′

    Actually i suppose his name is meant to mean ‘black protector’ or something.

  2. Hello there.(; says:

    Ichigo means strawberry. d:
    Kurosaki means black blossom because kuro means black and saki means blossom. :D

  3. Christopher says:

    Here is a website that explains his name.

  4. JOExHIGASHI says:

    Ichigo means strawberry

    But there was an episode when he met Ikkaku and they said Ichigo means protect everyone or something along those lines.

  5. pandaguin says:

    Ichigo means Strawberry! No, seriously, it does! For example, there is a Japanese dessert called “Ichigo Daifuku” which is a strawberry wrapped with red bean and mochi… mmm… that sounds so good…. Ichigo also means “Number One Guardian” because Ichi means “one” and go means “Guardian”.

  6. Bexxalyn says:

    Ichigo means strawberry, but in the anime, when people make that reference he cuts the name in half so ichi means one and go means guardian.

    Kurosaki translates into Kuro= black and Saki= point. Kurosaki as one word has no meaning as one word, but it is a common family name.

  7. S2MoonFairy says:

    Ichigo means Strawberry!!! When used in a name, it can mean “first” or “winner”.
    :P

  8. Yokune Ruko says:

    Ichigo means strawberry most of the time, but the manga says Ichigo means protector and kurosaki means First… so it means first protector or something like that
